The business models most used by developers and companies. Right now in Mexico and many parts of Latin America there is very little knowledge on how to make money with mobile applications, many times we are using it and we don&#8217;t even realize it. But every time you use an App, game, etc., someone makes money.<\/p>\n<p>After having discussed in previous posts what the development <a href=\"https:\/\/www.idoogroup.com\/cuanto-cuesta-una-aplicacion-movil\/\">cost of mobile applications<\/a> is, now we are going to discuss the topic of how to recover your investment with mobile applications. There are several, and here are just a few examples: <a href=\"https:\/\/admob.google.com\/intl\/es-419_ALL\/home\/\">AdMob<\/a> (pays from $0.1 to $0.5 USD eCPM &#8211; per thousand impressions), <a title=\"iAd\" href=\"http:\/\/advertising.apple.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">iAd<\/a> (pays from $0.3 to $3 USD eCPM &#8211; per thousand impressions). Our revenue can vary depending on the number of impressions or clicks the Ads receive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paid App:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>You generate revenue by selling your app at a competitive price in markets such as the <a title=\"App Store\" href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/mx\/genre\/ios\/id36?mt=8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App Store<\/a><\/li>\n<li>, Windows Marketplace (now <a title=\"Windows Store\" href=\"http:\/\/www.windowsstore.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Windows Store<\/a>), <a title=\"Google Play\" href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Google Play<\/a>, among others. Each of these markets takes a percentage for publishing your application or game (usually 30% for the <strong>App Store<\/strong>), and the remainder of the money is the revenue you earn from each sale of the application. Examples of some of the best-selling apps of the year include <a title=\"GoodReader\" href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/goodreader-for-ipad\/id363448914?mt=8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GoodReader<\/a> by Good.iWare Ltd and <a title=\"SCRABBLE\" href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/scrabble-for-ipad\/id363306776?mt=8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SCRABBLE<\/a> by Electronic Arts.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">Paid Apps with<\/strong> <strong style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\"><a title=\"In App Purchase\" href=\"http:\/\/support.apple.com\/kb\/ht4009\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">In-App Purchase<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This is one of the best and most used techniques to make money with apps.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Revenue is generated not only from the sales of the app download but also from in-app sales, which are known as <strong><a title=\"In App Purchase\" href=\"http:\/\/support.apple.com\/kb\/ht4009\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">In-App Purchas<\/a><\/strong>. For example, some of the best-selling apps in history include <a title=\"Angry Birds\" href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/angry-birds-hd\/id364234221?mt=8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Angry Birds<\/a> by Rovio Entertainment Ltd; <a title=\"Fruit Ninja\" href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/fruit-ninja-hd\/id370066032?mt=8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fruit Ninja<\/a> by Halfbrick Studios; and <a title=\"Cut the Rope\" href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/cut-the-rope-hd\/id394610743?mt=8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cut the Rope<\/a> by Chillingo Ltd among many others.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Free download apps with <a title=\"In App Purchase\" href=\"http:\/\/support.apple.com\/kb\/ht4009\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">In-App Purchase<\/a>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>It consists of downloading the application <strong>for free<\/strong> but <strong>payment<\/strong> will be made to obtain the subscription. A well-known example of this type of application is <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.spotify.mobile.android.ui&amp;pli=1\">Spotify<\/a> from Spotify Ltd.<\/li>\n<li>An important aspect within the <strong>In-App Purchase<\/strong> is the <strong>Item selling<\/strong> method, which is the purchase of coins (unreal money within the App that is purchased with real money) or levels; improvements; weapons; functionality for use in the game or application; Examples are the following applications with large revenues applying this business model <strong><a title=\"Temple Run\" href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/mx\/app\/temple-run\/id420009108?mt=8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Temple Run<\/a><\/strong> by Imangi Studios LLC with 75 million downloads the previous year; <strong><a title=\"Backflip Slots\" href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/backflip-slots\/id402872407?mt=8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Backflip Slots<\/a><\/strong> from Backflip Studios and <strong><a title=\"DragonVale\" href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/dragonvale\/id440045374?mt=8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DragonVale<\/a><\/strong> from Backflip Studios just to name a few <a href=\"https:\/\/ssl.apple.com\/es\/pr\/library\/2013\/01\/07App-Store-Tops-40-Billion-Downloads-with-Almost-Half-in-2012.html\">generating more than $100 million dollars in 2012<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For all of the above we can realize that with an application you can earn a considerable amount of money and it is worth remembering as we had mentioned in the previous article that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.idoogroup.com\/cuanto-cuesta-una-aplicacion-movil\/\">the development of applications requires a lot of work and they are not cheap<\/a> at all but they can multiply easily your investment in income and realize that making money with applications is not difficult, you just need to trust your application.
